Interpretation is the term used for oral translation at all sorts of multilingual events and meetings. There are several types of interpretation. Read more about each type of interpretation below.

Online / Remote interpretation:
Online meetings and meetings are here to stay. They are usually shorter events and can be translated simultaneously into several languages using any of the platforms that offer interpreting functionalities.
THREE INTERPRETATION MODES
Simultaneous interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation is used when the interpreters translate a speech into one or more languages in real time. It is the most commonly used mode nowadays, especially for conferences and large events, but is also used in many different settings.
Consecutive interpretation:
Consecutive interpretation is used for shorter statements or speeches. This is because, while the speaker is talking, the interpreter will listen and take notes, and deliver the speech in a different language at regular intervals, after the speaker makes a pause. This mode is suitable for a welcome address, opening speech, book presentations, or during shows or press conferences.
Liaison interpretation:
Here the interpreter enables communication among two people or a small group while standing or sitting close to them. Liaison interpreters come in handy for business lunches, travel, fairs, business meetings, factory visits, worksites, museums and situations where people will be moving around.
