Simultaneous

It has been scientifically shown that the great concentration which this task requires cannot be taken any longer than thirty minutes of ongoing work, if we wish for best results. We have all lived bad experiences of incoherent interpretation when the rules are not followed. If the conference is going to last one hour and the client wishes to only hire one interpreter, it will be enough with having 10 to 15 minutes of pause so that the professional can be able to do it. If this break is not possible, then two interpreters will be needed. Simultaneous interpreting can be performed at any kind of congress (medicine, business, politics, or law, for example), international assemblies, workshops, meetings between business leaders and trade unions, and in many other settings.

Consecutive interpretation

This type of interpretation is performed by note-taking, done through a very precise method based on seven tenets, such as the transcendence of the idea over the words, standard abbreviations, points of connection and verticality. Successful consecutive work requires precision, synthesis ability and constant practice. That is why the fees charged for this service are higher than those of simultaneous interpretation. Consecutive interpretation is generally used at formal events, award ceremonies, corporate or international association meetings or the twinning of cities, among others.

Linking and accompanying interpreters

Here interpreters facilitate communication between two or more persons, generally in small groups, lunches, trips, trade fairs, etc. Another variety of this type of interpretation involves accompanying clients who have to carry out administrative or private proceedings, or simply take a tour of the city. If any of our clients wishes to attend a congress or international conference, but can not due to scheduling conflicts, we send our interpreters to the event, where they record their simultaneous translation of the relevant presentations. Later, customers can receive just the oral version or a transcript on the medium of their choice (CD-Rom, paper, or disk).
